As well as celebrating our first year of trading recently, I just wanted to pop on here and share some exciting news with you. I am now a published author!!
I never thought I’d see the day to be honest with you – but I was approached with this amazing opportunity which I just couldn’t say no to. So, you can now read my story in the book series ‘Shine On You Crazy Daisy: Stories from Inspirational Businesswomen’, by the wonderful and talented Trudy Simmons. I contributed a chapter to the latest book, in which I share more of the story behind Collecting Seashells from how I took my dream and turned it into a reality.
The book brings together stories from a whole range of strong, professional women and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering stepping out of their comfort zone to embrace a new challenge, like me a year ago. I really hope it will inspire you (and give you some good advice as well!).

And the lovely thing about all this is that 10% of the profits from the book sales will be going to the Healthcare Workers Foundation Family Fund for families of NHS staff who lost their lives during Covid.
There have been lots of ups and downs, but I really do love running Collecting Seashells, and I’m so proud of what we’ve created. I have got something I feel very passionate about to call my own which hopefully shows through in the collections and products we bring to you.
